Thank you

After months of night school, followed by months of meetings and campaigning, the race for the Democratic nomination to Constable Precinct 2 came down to 1296 votes — and my campaign had the lower number.

I am grateful for the support I received from my family, my volunteers, and the wonderful Democratic clubs that endorsed me. I am indebted to those who contributed their time, financial resources, and talent to my first partisan political race.

While my campaign has ended, my political work has not. I will continue to register voters in Travis County, and am making plans to attend the Democratic conventions at the county, state, and perhaps even the national level in 2008. I'll be volunteering, and I encourage you to do the same.
